ASTech Awards and Gala 2009 - Dec 08, 2009
AVAC Ltd. is pleased to have been a part of the 20th Anniversary ASTech Gala.
Held on Friday, November 6th at the Hyatt Regency in Calgary, AB, the ASTech awards celebrated and honored excellence in innovation in Alberta.
AVAC has been a Patron of the ASTech awards for a number of years. This year, we are proud to co-sponsor the Outstanding Achievement in Information and Communication Technology Innovation award with iCore, which was given to SMART Technologies. As well, AVAC co-sponsored with Dow Agrosciences the Innovation in Agricultural Sciences which was awarded to Dr Michael E. Stiles and Dr. Lynn M. McMullen for their research in food safety.

Agricultural Research in Southern-Alberta Event a success!
